As you would expect, there are legal aspects to claiming that we need to make you aware of.Any travel insurance policy is a legally binding contract. We require you to tell us anything in advance that may affect the nature of any possible claim including pre-existing medical conditions or any circumstance that could materially affect a claim.


It is standard practice for all travel insurers that all claims are qualified by documentary evidence.In the event of loss or theft of personal items, you will be asked for documentary evidence; including a police report. Similarly, where a claim involves cancellation due to illness, we will require a written doctor's report, as well as documentary evidence from the airline in the event of delay.


So that we can start processing your claim as quickly as possible, we ask that you have all the necessary documentation and paperwork to hand before starting the claim- it helps all round.


We are not in the business of delaying, or preventing, legitimate claims but we have to be correct and thorough; as you would expect!
