Travel Insurance Web was established to offer cheaper travel insurance to consumers around the world. We are therefore delighted to now offer our policies to residents of Australia.

Specialists
As a specialist insurance intermediary, our main consideration is offering low priced policies which deliver high quality cover. We have researched what the majority of travellers look for in simple, one-stop, travel insurance. We have only two products: Single Trip Travel Insurance and Ski Travel Insurance. Australian customers looking for more specialist types of cover would probably be better served looking at other providers. All our travel insurance policies are arranged with Lloyds of London; world class insurers. An exclusive price arrangement is in place allowing us to deliver very low rates to our customers. Our products are available exclusively to Australian residents aged under 50 and only via the Internet.

Online Security
Customers on our site who decide to purchase can be completely reassured on security. Our systems and web servers are all FULLY SECURE. We havent compromised on cost, when setting up the latest encryption and security technology; keeping your details safe.

Help in Emergencies
All emergency medical assistance for our products is handled by a company called Specialty Assistance Services, (SAS). This is a customer focussed organisation with an established reputation. As specialists in their field, they are able to offer speed and effectiveness without raising premiums.

Claims
All insurance claims are handled by Gallagher Bassett, on behalf of the underwriter. Claims must be notified via our claims form (available online) direct to Gallagher Bassett. In case of an emergency when travelling, our customers must contact Gallagher Bassett via the telephone number provided on their policy schedule, and online with each policy purchase confirmation. Should you need to make a claim, or require emergency assistance, these companies have direct and secure access to our customer database, so that you can be quickly identified as a customer. They will check that your insurance is in place so you can get assistance. For data protection, they do not have access to the full file on our database.

Travel Insurance from Travel Insurance Web is available to Australian residents under the age of 65 only.
