Australians bring cricket to Dubai10 October 2006
Australians with travel insurance heading abroad with their families can visit Dubai this November to take part in the Emirates Airline Festival of Cricket.Sports operator Australian Sports Camps has joined with Emirates to provide three days of events in Dubai, including a cricket clinic for those aged seven to 17, featuring Joel Garner, Kim Hughes, Mike Gatting and Javagal Srinath.
In addition to the events on offer, participants receive an Australian Sports Camp cap, drinks and refreshments and a photograph signed by the international cricketers at the festival.
Ian Phillips, Australian Sports Camp event manager, said: "There is something for everyone - from corporate lunches and the celebrity match, to the youth coaching clinic and formal dinner - it's certainly going to be a spectacular few days in Dubai."
Australian Sports Camps has attracted 40,000 participants to its football, netball, athletics, tennis, soccer and cricket camps in Australia in the past 23 years.
